Hello everyone!
Just wanted to write a quick note to say we are in Indonesia, safe and sound. We are on the island of Sulawesi, in the town of Rantepao which is in the middle of the Tana Toraja area. We've had a great time exploring Tana Toraja, and have quite a few interesting stories to share with everyone when we have more time.
On Saturday we will be taking a 13 hour bus ride to the town of Poso. From there we will catch a bus to Ampana, and from there we will take a boat out to the Togean Islands. The reputation of the islands precedes them, and several people have named them as their favorite place in Indonesia. We're looking forward to losing track of time while laying on the beach. (Don't worry, I've packed plenty of sunscreen!)
We are having an amazing time, and every day is a new adventure. Sorry we haven't been able to upload many photos, but the internet connections are very slow so it's quite difficult. We're still working on it!
